Rv fuse box fan running.

What is noise at converter fuse box.
When hooked to shore power the fan in the fuse breaker box immediately comes on and remains on.
On the newer class b motorhomes you can normally find the fuse box relays and control equipment mounted in the cabinets.
The only thing on in the tt is smoke detectors and batteries.
Any idea why my fuse panel fan would be running while very little power is being drawn.
If it is not lighting up it is a bad fuse.

A recreational vehicle rv uses a power converter to transform 120 volt alternating current ac from the shore power cord or a running generator to 12 volt direct current dc.
Is it a fan and why does it come one we were connected to house wall outlet and only had lights on and using vacuum small amp use i believe so not sure why noise is there.
The converter comprises diodes which supply 12 volt power to the rv and these diodes create heat.
There is noise sounds almost like a fan that came on at the converter fuse box while we were cleaning and looking around in outback today.

No fridge water heater lights or anything else.

Appliances on are ac ceiling fan radio lights and skillet.
However you can test for a bad fuse to verify that is the problem.

Later while cleaning after camping ac and water pump tripped the breaker.
If the converter had the fan running when first powered it was probably in bulk charging mode.
Newer rv distribution panel models will have lights underneath the fuses and if the light is on it is indicating the fuse has gone bad.
